It is very dehydrated here at Piquett Lake frequently; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Having a fine time at Piquett Lake is trouble-free. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. A delightful spot to camp here at Piquett Lake is Little Boulder Bay Campground; a good close       by hotel is Best Western Hamilton Inn. Throughout the summertime at Piquett Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Piquett Lake plunge into the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. There are splendid places to look at along the                  Divide Trail; Piquett Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Creek Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Trapper Peak Trail is always a great adventure, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lost Trail is quite near.
