    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Pioneer Lakes. Dry warm beds await you at Big Sky Resort, and don't forget to take a look at Sagebrush Point since you're here. Head up to Big Sky and strap some skis to your feet, and Castle Rock Inn is a good local campground. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do close to Pioneer Lakes. Pioneer Lakes is right by the Eldridge Trail, and Burnt Creek is in the neighborhood of  
   Pioneer Lakes and is always a bliss to visit.
Around Pioneer Lakes you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February. While you're here at Pioneer Lakes, you could also have a look at wonderful Lava Lake; there are plenty of folks from Bozeman here. If you came for an overnight stay Moose Flat Campground is a wonderful spot to camp; if you need a place to stay Rainbow Ranch Lodge is a fine choice.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Rat Lake near Pioneer Lakes, it's a striking lake, and the Red Rock Trail offers hiking at its best. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pioneer Lakes; Divide Trail is a brilliant local trail; one of the main highlights of the surroundings of Pioneer Lakes is Avalanche Spire Rock.
Through the summertime months highs here at Pioneer Lakes get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Pioneer Lakes. Moonlight Basin is a very popular ski area around here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Gallatin River.
