    A visit to Pioneer Lakes is always a good idea. A visit to Sagebrush Point in the vicinity of Pioneer Lakes is always a great idea, and close by you discover the Divide Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Avalanche Spire Rock is clearly visible from Pioneer Lakes, and if you're here, you could also stop at striking Rat Lake. So much exciting stuff near Pioneer Lakes, truly astonishing. Dry warm beds await you at Rainbow Ranch Lodge, and the snow is glorious  
   at Big Sky.
Camping is available at Moose Flat Campground, and there are fine places to explore along the Eldridge Trail. Why not camp at Castle Rock Inn while you're here at Pioneer Lakes; get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Gallatin River. Summertime at Pioneer Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows in
 
               the 0's for Pioneer Lakes.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Pioneer Lakes, you could visit Burnt Creek, and the cheerful folks of Bozeman like to hang out close by. Big Sky Resort is a good place to get some rest. It is very dry here at Pioneer Lakes mostly; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Red Rock Trail is always a good adventure, and why not head up to Moonlight Basin and strap some skis to your feet.
