to do near Pine Lake. Drift down the rapids of Yellowstone River in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Bozeman.
This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site to camp here at Pine Lake is Bear Canyon RV Park, and the slopes of Bridger Bowl are so inviting noone can resist. It is very dried out here at Pine Lake usually; the month with most of the rain is May, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Why not camp at Palace Butte

Campground if you're here at Pine Lake, and the Red Rock Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby.
If you get bored of Pine Lake, you could also explore close by Bear Lakes. If the weather is good here at Pine Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pole Gulch Trail, and Bald Knob is a peak you can observe from Pine Lake.

Bridger Bowl offers a very diverse ski experience with the following ratings: 20% beginner, 30% intermediate, 20% advance and 30% extreme. Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz). It is strongly recommended to have a partner, a shovel and expert skiing abilities in addition to knowledge of the terrain before venturing into the area which will have no hazard markings, no grooming and no marked trails.
