Do stop by Pine Lake while you're in this part of Montana. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Pine Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Pine Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. | | to do near Pine Lake. Drift down the rapids of Yellowstone River in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Bozeman. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site to camp here at Pine Lake is Bear Canyon RV Park, and the slopes of Bridger Bowl are so inviting noone can resist. Campground if you're here at Pine Lake, and the Red Rock Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. If you get bored of Pine Lake, you could also explore close by Bear Lakes. If the weather is good here at Pine Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pole Gulch Trail, and Bald Knob is a peak you can observe from Pine Lake.

Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz).
