If you are traveling by, why not stop by Pilgrim Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Graves Bay Campground is always a splendid experience, and Glacier National Park is a tremendous local destination. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. Going for a hike along the Aeneas Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; you're most likely hooked on lakes, Big Hawk Lake is one of those nearby.

| | the summertime here at Pilgrim Lakes, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Pilgrim Lakes plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hawk Mountain, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork.
This site, the Lewis Range, has so much outdoors fun things. On a good day at Pilgrim Lakes
you can take a hike along the Pioneer Ridge Trail, and Bridge Street Cottages is a splendid site to get some rest. Pilgrim Lakes is a good place of common precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here while July is the
month with the least amount of precipitation. So many cool things to do in the Lewis Range, not sufficient time. While you're here at Pilgrim Lakes you can take a hike along the Peterson Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors
Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to spend a night or two.
Pilgrim Lakes is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Handkerchief Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground; Swan River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby.
