Peterson Lake is pretty dry commonly; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. A visit to Glacier National Park is worthwhile. A wonderful place to camp here at Peterson Lake is Rv Timbers Park, and you can go for a hike on the Jimmie Ridge Trail. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Eagle Bend Golf Club, and       Peterson Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Bigfork Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Peterson Lake, you could also stop at nearby Abbot Lake, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Alpine Trail. Any time is a brilliant time at Peterson Lake if you adore the outdoors. Get wet paddling on Swan River, and going for a hike on the Doris Creek Trail is always a magnificent                  adventure. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Peterson Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Peterson Lake. If you need a location to stay Big Fork Timbers Motel is a tremendous choice, and soar down the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork in a kayak. You'll meet a lot of people from Kalispell here, and do schedule some time to go to Blackies Bay if you have a chance. This lake is so wonderful.
