This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Discovery Ski in close proximity; going for a hike along the Boulder Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. All through the summer months at Perkins Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.       Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Perkins Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. So many cool things to do here at Perkins Pond, too nice to be true. Have a great hiking adventure along the Long Canyon Trail, and you get a good sight of Red Butte from here. Why not camp at Racetrack Campground while you're here at Perkins Pond, and Long Park is a nice spot here at Perkins Pond. A magnificent                  nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge, and lakes are such serene locations, why not have a look at Powell Lake. A quick journey to Middle Fork Dempsey Creek in the vicinity of Perkins Pond is a perfect idea, and close by you hit upon great locations like Bielenberg Canyon.
