Pear Lake gets very little rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. The Crazy Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You get a good view of Granite Peak from Pear Lake. Grasshopper Glacier is a great place to pop by while in the region; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel Big Timber is a splendid choice. At Pear Lake during the summertime       highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Pear Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Crazy Mountains, too splendid to be true. Lakes? Sure, Blue Lake is close at hand; don't leave Pear Lake without first paying a visit to Thunder Rapids. This lake is so wonderful.
