Big Timber Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by; here at Pear Lake you can catch a sight of Granite Peak. High temperatures at Pear Lake during the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at       Pear Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Around Pear Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
