Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; wonderful hiking is available along the Lost Lake Trail. And if that's not enough there's lots more fun things to do in the Absaroka Range. Go for a hike on the Crazy Mountain Trail, and a stunning lake like Copeland Lake is a magnificent site to visit. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Pat Lake; June is the month       that gets the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Jenny Lake is a great lake near Pat Lake, and don't leave Pat Lake without first going for a hike along the Lake Reno Trail. A splendid location to camp here at Pat Lake is Lake Creek Campground, and a great vista of picturesque Crazy Mountain is available. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Absaroka Range. Skiing at Red Lodge Mountain                  is one of those things you just should do.
