Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Bitterroot Range. Drop Creek flows through this area, and one of the governing characteristics of the surroundings of Pass Lake is Falls Point. Throughout the warm days of summer at Pass Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Pass Lake during the       wintertime typically dip into the 10's. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do close to Pass Lake. There are splendid places to discover along the Divide Trail, and going for a hike on the Ax Park Way is always a delightful adventure. Why not camp at Moosehead Store and Gallery if you're here at Pass Lake, and don't leave Pass Lake without first going for a hike along the Big Hole National Recreation Trail. Camping is available at Crazy Creek Campground,                  and Overwhich Falls is a charming location to visit while you're at Pass Lake. So much entertaining stuff in the Bitterroot Range, just mind-boggling. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Trail has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Hamilton Inn is a delightful location to spend a night or two. Pass Lake is regularly a rather dry place; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
