This spot, the Lewis Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Lakes? Sure, Twin Lakes is close at hand. It is very arid here at Parker       Lake generally; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. All through the long summer days at Parker Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Parker Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Falls Creek offers some splendid                  whitewater, and not far from Parker Lake you'll hit upon Two Point Lake which is a charming lake. Red Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Parker Lake; the Main Line Trail offers hiking at its best. Parker Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Sleepy Hollow Trailer Court is a splendid local campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Mountain Trail. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Lewis Range. A quick visit to Scotty Creek near Parker Lake is a great idea, and do take a hike on the Meadow Creek Trail.
