Park Lake is a nice lake to visit. And that's not all you can do here at Park Lake. Good hiking is available along the Bear Gulch Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Tenmile Campground is a great spot to camp. Through the summertime here at Park Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Park Lake. This lake is so wonderful.

Float down the rapids of Boulder River in a kayak, also Chessman Saddle Dam is worth visiting while you're here. it's nearby. At Park Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. People from Helena
love to come to Park Lake, and going for a hike on the Mount Helena National Recreation Trail is always a splendid adventure.
