For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Ouzel Lake. Why not camp at Chief Joseph Campground while you're here at Ouzel Lake; there is a great hiking trail       nearby called the Crazy Lakes Trail. Nymph Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; on a good day you can take a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. If you get bored of Ouzel Lake, you could also stop                  at close by Lake of the Clouds; Bald Knob is a peak you can distinguish from Ouzel Lake. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Rosebud Creek - West, and going for a hike on the Lake Reno Trail is always a fine adventure. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range. Dry warm beds await you at Yodeler Motel. Having a good time in the Absaroka Range is easy.
