What a nice lake Otter Lake is. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more cool things to do here in the Absaroka Range. Camping is available at Crazy Creek Campground, and Big Butte Lake is a great lake close by. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Otter Lake with nighttime lows in the 30's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's while Otter Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. There's good

| | hiking along the Lake Reno Trail, and Clarks Fork Yellowstone is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby.
The yearly rainfall here at Otter Lake is about average; June is the wettest month with most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. There are other places here than Otter Lake, for example Shrew Lake, and the snow is brilliant at Red Lodge Mountain.

things in one place! The Absaroka Range rocks!. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Good hiking is available along the Crazy Mountain Trail; hiking is a popular thing to do around Otter Lake; Crazy Lakes Trail is a perfect local
trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Lake Creek Campground while you're here at Otter Lake, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River.
