But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Cabinet Mountains. While you're here at Lake Osakis you can take a hike along the Berray Mountain Trail, and if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Libby is a nice choice. Throughout the summer months highs here at Lake Osakis reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the       40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Osakis. A typical amount of rain falls here at Lake Osakis; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. The top of Treasure Mountain is easily seen from Lake Osakis, and Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a glorious location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.                  You could also pop by Flower Lake if you're here at Lake Osakis; it's nearby; a fine place to camp here at Lake Osakis is Woodland Park. This lake is located in the wonderful Cabinet Mountains. Having a good time in the Cabinet Mountains is uncomplicated. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kootenai River, and camping at Cabinet Mountain Conoco Campground is always a splendid experience. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Lake Osakis, too glorious to be true. Take a hike on the Old Daly Trail; Lake Osakis is not the only spot close by, Crater Lake is a close by lake.
