It is very dry here at Olive Lake typically; during June this area sees the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. If you're here at Olive Lake, do take a spree to Blackies Bay; hiking is a popular thing to do around Olive Lake; Doris Creek Trail is a brilliant local trail. Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a tremendous spot to get some rest; why not camp at Bigfork Campground while you're here at Olive       Lake. At Olive Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Olive Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff next to Olive Lake. While you're here at Olive Lake, you could also take a look at delightful Circle Lake; a round of golf at nearby                  Eagle Bend Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Olive Lake you'll possibly meet some folks from Kalispell, and paddling on Swan River is so much fun. Do stop at Grayling Lake Number Two next to Olive Lake, it's a beautiful lake; brilliant hiking is available along the Alpine Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Blaine Resort Campground is a nice location to camp, and get wet paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Glacier National Park is a very wonderful place to take a look at in the vicinity of Olive Lake; while you're here, you could check out Peters Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
