    It's always fun to stop by Oldman Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Lewis Range has to offer. You could also check out Boy Lake while you're here at Oldman Lake; it's close by, and Flinsch Peak is clearly visible from Oldman Lake. A good nearby hotel is Swift Current Motor Inn, and Oldman Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Cut Bank Campground is a great local campground. If you need a spot to stay Rising Sun  
   Motor Inn is a nice choice, and you simply have to pop by Pumpelly Pillar since you're here at Oldman Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Glacier National Park is a magnificent local destination here at Oldman Lake, and whitewater paddling is fine on Bear Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Everybody loves Bighorn Basin; a tremendous place to camp here at Oldman Lake is Two Medicine Campground. Having a tremendous time in the Lewis Range is
 
               trouble-free. Going for a hike on the Cut Bank Pass Trail is always a great adventure, and if you fancy a little side trip, try Cut Bank Pass.
Near Oldman Lake you stumble on the Pitamakan Pass Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. Summertime highs at Oldman Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Oldman Lake.
An average amount of precipitation falls at Oldman Lake; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful. There are delightful places to explore along the Upper Two Medicine Trail, and paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork is so much fun.
