If you are traveling by, why not stop by Nurses Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder River - West, and Burrls Flat is a glorious place to stretch your legs a bit. A lake nearby is Horseshoe Lake, and the Pyramid Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. So much amusing stuff in the Absaroka Range, just incredible. Take a little tour to Grouse Creek if you're here at Nurses

One of the principal marks of the surroundings of Nurses Lakes is Mount Rae, and if you came for an overnight stay Falls Creek Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Boulder River; Big Beaver Campground is a great campground nearby.
