North Totem Lake is always a pleasure to visit. North Totem Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. If the weather is pleasant here at North Totem Lake, you can go for a hike along the Saint Mary Peak Trail; if you come at the right time of year, White Sand Creek offers some good whitewater. What a place this is for outdoors people. North Totem Lake is not the only site nearby, Garnet Lake is a nearby lake, and there is a great hiking trail close

| | by called the Sally Ridge Trail.
For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at North Totem Lake get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for North Totem Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Big Sand Creek; a day on the slopes of Lost Trail is just what you need.

wonderful. Blodgett Canyon Campground is a great campground here, and the peak of Totem Peak can be made out from North Totem Lake. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Bitterroot Range. Holiday Inn Express Hamilton
is a great location to get some rest, and North Totem Lake is a nice spot to camp, Schumaker Campground is a nice spot. An average amount of rain falls at North Totem Lake; January is when you get the most snow here; July is the month
with the least moisture.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Bitterroot Range. The Ward Mountain Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close to North Totem Lake, and if you need a site to stay Remlc's City Center Motel Annex is a great choice.
