Moonlight Basin is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Divide Trail. and South Fork Hell Roaring Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from North Fork Lake, you'll discover Grace Lake which is a lovely lake.

River Rock Lodge is a perfect spot to get some rest, and Big Sky has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. A brilliant close by hotel is Lodge at Big Sky; North Fork Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Castle Rock Inn
is a great local campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Gallatin River, and going for a hike along the Wapiti Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
