This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Lewis Range. A fine site to camp here at Nolo Lake is Big Nelson Campground, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Blackfoot River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Blackfoot Canyon Campground, and you can run       the rapids of Blackfoot River. For the duration of the months of summer at Nolo Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Nolo Lake during the winter ordinarily sink into the 10's. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Nolo Lake is so good! Take a hike on the Meadow Creek Trail. Have a good hiking adventure along the                  Mineral Creek Trail; you acquire a good vista of Arrastra Mountain from here. Hiking along the Arrastra Creek Trail is wonderful fun; a tremendous close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge.
