The warmest time of the year at Nolo Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Nolo Lake. There is a good hiking trail close to Nolo Lake called the Meadow Creek Trail, and a perfect vista of pretty Arrastra Mountain is available. And if that's not enough,       there's heaps more to do in the vicinity of Nolo Lake. Near Nolo Lake you locate the Arrastra Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Blackfoot Canyon Campground is a pleasant campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is nice on Blackfoot River, and going for a hike on the Mineral Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Lewis Range. This lake is one of the great places                  here in the Lewis Range. If you came for an overnight stay Big Nelson Campground is a tremendous place to camp, and after a long day outdoors Roos't is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Nolo Lake is a location that is quite dried out mostly; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. All year is a perfect time in the Lewis Range if you adore the outdoors. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blackfoot River - North Fork, and a fine close by hotel is Leeper's Motel.   Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge, Deer Lodge 32 miles away Historical District.
