There are other spots here than Nolo Lake, for example Reservoir Lake; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Mineral Creek Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackfoot River - North Fork. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Nolo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Nelson Campground. During the long summer days at Nolo Lake temperatures       are regularly in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Nolo Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. Lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Coopers Lake in the vicinity of Nolo Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Arrastra Creek Trail. At Nolo Lake you don’t see much rain;                  the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest. So many fun things to do here in the Lewis Range, too delightful to be true. If you need a site to stay Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Arrastra Mountain is easily made out from Nolo Lake, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Meadow Creek Trail. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the Lewis Range. If you come at the right time of year, Blackfoot River offers some tremendous whitewater.
