Around Nilan Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is ordinarily the driest month. Nilan Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Wagons West Campground is a perfect local campground; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Steamboat Lookout Pass. Teton Pass has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff, and get       your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Dearborn River. Camping at Bean Lake Campground is always a great experience, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Falls Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Nilan East Dam is a site that is near Nilan Reservoir; the Ford Willow Creek Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. At Nilan Reservoir during the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit                  cooler of course, typically in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Nilan Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Nilan Reservoir.
