Going for a hike on the Billy Johns Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Camping is available at Pigeon Creek Campground, and 02S06W11DCDC01 Spring is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Stardust Country Inn and RV Park is always a delightful experience, and there's some flowing water nearby, Coal Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay. Good hiking is available along       the Lost Cabin Lake Recreation Trail; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Butte (Parkside), Mt is a tremendous choice. Go for a hike on the Brazil Pack Trail, and if you would like a little side trip, try Blackman Gulch. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Nelson Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Whitehall is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Hole River. Throughout                  the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Nelson Reservoir. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Nelson Reservoir.
