Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Best Western Hamilton Inn is a glorious location to get some rest. Throughout the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Nelson Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for       Nelson Lake tend to be in the 10's. The peak of Boulder Peak can be seen from Nelson Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Nelson Lake; Castle Rock Trail is a great local trail. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more amusing things to do in the Bitterroot Range. You're possibly into lakes, Lake of the Rocks is one of those close by; Nelson Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Rombo Creek Campground is a tremendous local                  campground. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Nelson Lake. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Soda Springs; there's tremendous hiking along the Trapper Peak Trail. Nelson Lake is a location that is reasonably arid mostly; May is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. Nelson Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot Range. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Lost Trail.
