And that's not everything there is to do here in the Little Belt Mountains. A quick tour to Johnston Creek in the vicinity of Neihart Reservoir is a tremendous idea, and if you came for an overnight stay Kings Hill Campground is a splendid location to camp.       This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Jamison Trail, needless to say you could also check out Twin Lakes since you're here; it's not far at all. High temperatures at Neihart Reservoir throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Neihart Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. If you come at the right time of                  year, Belt Creek offers some great whitewater; a lake close by is Rhoda Lake. Skiing at Showdown is one of those things you just ought to do, and there are plenty of people from Great Falls here. Be careful coming to Neihart Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Camping is available at Many Pines Campground, and while you're here why not stop at Compromise Gulch.
