Neihart Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Neihart Reservoir is located in the Little Belt Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Little Belt Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Belt Creek in a kayak. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Little Belt Mountains. A quick tour to Johnston Creek in the vicinity of Neihart Reservoir is a tremendous idea, and if you came for an overnight stay Kings Hill Campground is a splendid location to camp.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Jamison Trail, needless to say you could also check out Twin Lakes since you're here; it's not far at all. High temperatures at Neihart Reservoir throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. year, Belt Creek offers some great whitewater; a lake close by is Rhoda Lake. Skiing at Showdown is one of those things you just ought to do, and there are plenty of people from Great Falls here. Be careful coming to Neihart Reservoir,
you might not ever wanna go back home again. Camping is available at Many Pines Campground, and while you're here why not stop at Compromise Gulch. Not much rainfall falls here at Neihart Reservoir; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February.
