A pleasant place to camp here at Needle Lake is Chippy Park Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Republic Trail. The warmest time of the year at Needle Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Needle Lake. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Absaroka       Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Pisce is close to Needle Lake, and you could always explore Rabbit Gulch.
