Good hiking is available along the Crazy Mountain Trail, and Froze-to-Death Mountain is clearly visible from Mystic Lake. The warmest time of the year at Mystic Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Mystic Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. A normal       amount of rainfall falls here at Mystic Lake; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month is October. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mystic Lake; Lake Reno Trail is a brilliant local trail, and a lake nearby is Jawbone Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. So many entertaining things near Mystic Lake, truly unbelievable. There are some nice whitewater spots on Rosebud Creek - East, and the Crazy                  Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. If you came for an overnight stay Emerald Lake Campground is a great location to camp; get yourself into a kayak and hit Rosebud Creek - West. This lake is so wonderful. Mystic Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and Pine Grove Campground is a great campground nearby. A quick visit to Fish Creek close to Mystic Lake is a good idea, naturally you could also stop at Ram Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful.
