For the duration of the warm months here at Murray Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows during the winter for Murray Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake       is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from Kalispell, and a great nearby hotel is Grouse Mountain Lodge. Lakes? Sure, Rainbow Lake is close by, and if you need a site to stay Kristianna Mountain Homes is a wonderful choice. Murray Lake is usually a relatively dry location; all through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Whitefish Lake Golf Club is a golf course close to Murray Lake, and on a nice day you can                  take a hike along the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Big Mountain, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Stillwater River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. The Mountain Meadow Trail is a good hiking trail near Murray Lake; Whitefish RV Park is a perfect local campground.
