If you are in Flathead county it's always a good idea to stop by Murray Lake. You can run the rapids of Stillwater River in close proximity to Murray Lake. There's so much to do here at Murray Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whitefish RV Park is a great site for that. Here at Murray Lake you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Kalispell, and after a long day outdoors Kristianna Mountain Homes is a glorious site to spend a night or two. This

Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Whitefish Lake Golf Club. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Murray Lake has to offer. Why
not take a refreshing hike along the Mountain Meadow Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Rainbow Lake. The Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best, and a day on the slopes of Big Mountain is just what you need.
