Warren Lake is a lake around here; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Hiline Trail. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mudd Lake. What would winter be without some skiing at Discovery Ski. Near Mudd Lake you find the Alder Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Spillway Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might       be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Lost Lakes; if you came for an overnight stay Pintler Campground is a fine spot to camp. Mudd Lake is pretty dehydrated typically; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Looking for some flowing water? Try Palisade Creek, and the Hi Line Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. During the long summer days at Mudd Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun                  is down it falls down to the 40's.
