At Mud Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. A stunning lake       like Long Lake near Mud Lake is a perfect site to visit, and dry warm beds await you at Glacier Gateway Inn. Mud Lake is a location that is relatively dried up generally; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
