It's always fun to stop by Mud Lake. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Lewis Range. Dry warm beds await you at Kosy Kountry, and the Dunham Lodgepole Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range. Near Mud Lake you locate the Center Ridge Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and why not camp at Russell Gates Memorial Campground while you're

| | here at Mud Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Mud Lake. Going for a hike on the Monture Haun Trail is always a pleasant adventure; float down the rapids of Blackfoot River - North Fork in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Shoup Lake Dam in the vicinity of Mud Lake is pretty, and camping is available at Monture Creek Campground. Mud Lake is located in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. | |

James Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out.
All through the summertime here at Mud Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come
with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake sink into the 0's. The panorama of beautiful Monture Hill near Mud Lake is good; Upsata Lake Guest Ranch is a wonderful place to get
some rest. Paddling on Blackfoot River is so much fun; why not a little side trip to Dick Creek.
At Mud Lake you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; July is when it's the driest.
