In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Mud Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Bozeman - Days Inn is a great site to get some rest, and why not camp at Palace Butte Campground while you're here at Mud Lake. Blackmore Campground is a great local campground; Yellowstone River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Mud Lake is peerless! | | Mud Lake, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Bozeman is a good choice. Paddling on Mulherin Creek is so much fun; Mud Lake is right by the Red Rock Trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bridger Bowl, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not explore Emerald Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Mud Lake, you could take a look at North Fork Eightmile Creek, and the Pole Gulch Trail offers hiking at its best. | |

Mud Lake gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Mud Lake, high temperatures
commonly reach the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Mud Lake tend to be in the 10's.

Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.''
