If only every spot had this much outdoors fun things, what a great globe it would be. Camping is available at La-vi RV Park, and Rodeway Inn Libby is a fine site to get some rest. Mud Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Turner Mountain,       and if you came for an overnight stay Dorr Skeels Campground is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Crowell Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Near Mud Lake you locate the Pulpit Mountain National Recreation Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Kootenai River. You're probably addicted to lakes, Duck Lake is one of those close by, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Kootenai                  River Inn & Casino. If you come at the right time of year, Yaak River offers some nice whitewater, and Lake Creek Dam has good water scenery. For the period of the months of summer at Mud Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mud Lake.
