    A visit to Mud Lake is always a good idea. Not much rainfall falls here at Mud Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Here at Mud Lake you can spot Goat Peak, and if you're here, you could also check out scenic Ducharm Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Crow Creek Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Swan River.
Mud Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Flathead
 
   Lake RV Resort and Campground is a magnificent local campground, and Bayview Inn Budget Host Polson is a great spot to get some rest. If you came to camp North Crow Creek Campground is a glorious place to do that; do stop at Courville Lake, it's a striking lake. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Montana Snowbowl.

               visit to Mud Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Mud Creek Falls. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mud Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Mud Lake.
