This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Mud Lake? Little Racetrack Lake is nearby, and going for a hike on the Boulder Lakes Trail is always a delightful adventure. Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a good location to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Lower Willow Creek Trail Number Four. Mud Lake is not the only place       nearby, Fisher Lake is a nearby lake, and Indian Meadows is a tremendous place to check out. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Mud Lake get into the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Mud Lake tend to be in the 10's. At Mud Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is June while February is commonly the driest month.                  You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area right next door to Mud Lake has to offer.
