Why not stop by Mud Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Sundance RV Park and Campground while you're here at Mud Lake; the view of Swanberg Mountain is charming. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do in the Lewis Range. If time allows, Glacier National Park is a national park worth stopping at; Flathead River - Middle Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Mud Lake gets very little rainfall; of all

| | the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is April.
Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a nice spot to get some rest, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Columbia Mountain Trail, and a lake close by is Lion Lake. Visit Rubideau Creek since you're here at Mud Lake, and brilliant hiking | |

is available along the South Boundary Trail.
So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Lewis Range, too splendid to be true. Don't leave Mud Lake without first going for a hike along the Howe Lake Trail, and since you're here
you can play some golf at Glacier View Golf Club. Summertime highs at Mud Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and throughout the
dark hours in the winter at Mud Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range.
Mud Lake is not the only location close by, Lion Lake is a close by lake, and after a long day outdoors Bad
Rock B&B is a good spot to spend a night or two. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Mud Lake. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mud Lake. Camping is available at Glacier Campground, and folks from Kalispell love to come here.
