Mud Lake is a location that is reasonably waterless regularly; most of the snow falls during December; April meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Mud Lake. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Don't       miss out on a spree to Glacier National Park while you're here at Mud Lake. Going for a hike on the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail is always a perfect adventure; a fine site to camp here at Mud Lake is Logging Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There is a pleasant hiking trail next to Mud Lake called the Micho Trail, and Flathead River - Middle Fork is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. Lookout Creek is a good location to pop by; what                  would winter be without some skiing at Big Mountain. Mud Lake is a spot with many visitors from Kalispell, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Flathead River - Middle Fork. If you need a location to stay North Forty Resort is a great choice; camping at Upper Big Creek Campground is always a pleasant experience. Be careful coming to Mud Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again.
