Mud Lake is a good place of normal rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Abbot Lake near Mud Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and why not take a little journey to Bear Creek if you're here. Long Beach is in close proximity to Mud Lake if you're in a beach type of mood. There's whitewater on Flathead       River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline people, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Wolf Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Swan River, and Woods Bay Marina and RV Park is a good campground nearby. The vistas at Glacier National Park will blow your mind, and a delightful lake like Echo Lake is a good location to stop by. If you need a place to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice,                  and do take a hike on the Noisy Creek Notch Trail. After a long day outdoors Bridge Street Cottages is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Outback Montana RV/Tent Campground is a tremendous site to camp. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Mud Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Mud Lake throughout the winter commonly sink into the 10's. This location is great, just check out all the cool stuff to do right next door to Mud Lake.
