If the weather is great here at Mud Lake, you can go for a hike along the Grassy Lake Trail, and you can stay the night at Steel Creek Campground. Near Mud Lake you find the Copper Creek Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; while you're here, you could also pop by beautiful Lily Lake. The Bobcat Lakes Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Mud Lake, and Sand Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Mud Lake is mostly a quite dried up place;

So many enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Mud Lake, just remarkable. At Mud Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's.
