For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Mud Lake tend to be in the 10's. Mud       Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Maverick Mountain RV Park is a glorious location to camp nearby, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Bull Creek Polecreek Trail. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. Some nearby water includes East Fork Englebaugh Creek, and Reservoir Lake Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. At Mud Lake you can catch a glimpse of Black Mountain,                  and you'll locate a pretty lake called Reservoir Lake. Having a brilliant time at Mud Lake is uncomplicated.
