This lake is so wonderful. Don’t forget to take a look at Grizzly Basin while you're here at Morrell Lake; you'll meet a lot of folks from Missoula here. Morrell Falls is a beautiful site to visit while you're at Morrell Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail.       This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Florence Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Morrell Lake has to offer, you can camp at Coyle's RV Park. At Morrell Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's; the night is a tad cooler of course, generally in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down through                  the winter temperatures at Morrell Lake fall into the 10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Morrell Lake. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Double Arrow Golf Course, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blackfoot River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. And that's not all there is to do here in the Lewis Range. Crescent Mountain is pretty and can be observed from Morrell Lake, and the Holland Gordon Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. Stay the night at Tamarack Resort; not far from Morrell Lake you'll come across George Lake which is a charming lake.
