Summertime highs at Morrell Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's; overnight lows at Morrell Lake throughout the winter generally drop into the 10's. Flathead River - South Fork is a nice whitewater spot right next door to Morrell Lake, and Coyle's RV Park is a glorious campground nearby. This lake       is so wonderful. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a great view of Crescent Mountain from Morrell Lake, and delightful hiking is available along the Pyramid Pass Trail. Tamarack Resort is a great local campground, and don't leave Morrell Lake without first paying a visit to Morrell Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Morrell Lake without first going for a hike along the Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful                  Lewis Range. From a precipitation point of view Morrell Lake is a pretty common site; the month with most of the snow is January, and July is the month with the least moisture. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Lewis Range. If you get bored of Morrell Lake, you could also check out close by Otis Lake; you can run the rapids of Blackfoot River. That right there is heaps of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. Grizzly Basin is a glorious site to stretch your legs a bit, and there's great hiking along the Holland Gordon Trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time.
