During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Moose Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Kilbrennan Lake Campground is a fine local campground, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Turner Mountain is pretty near. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the       Cabinet Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Grouse Lake Trail; lakes are such peaceful spots, why not pop by Slee Lake. Some of the water close by flows, like Callahan Creek, and Kootenai River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Moose Lake without first going for a hike along the Pulpit Mountain National Recreation Trail; you'll find a beautiful lake called Duck Lake. This lake is so wonderful.                  After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Libby is a fine spot to spend a night or two. Moose Lake is located in the Cabinet Mountains. So many fun things to do here at Moose Lake, too nice to be true. Why not camp at La-vi RV Park while you're here at Moose Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Moose Lake; Goat Mountain Trail is a splendid local trail. Moose Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains.
