This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Moose Lake, for example Giefer Lake, and going for a hike on the Big River Trail is always a brilliant adventure. High temperatures at Moose Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Moose       Lake sink into the 10's. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Lewis Range. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Moose Lake gets a normal amount of rain; December is the month that gets the most snow, and April meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Moose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Campground is a great spot for that, and                  whitewater paddling is delightful on Bear Creek. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Moose Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Moose Lake has to offer, you can camp at Devil Creek Campground, and after a long day outdoors Bridge Street Cottages is a splendid site to spend a night or two. Having a magnificent time in the Lewis Range is uncomplicated. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not take a look at Castle Lake near Moose Lake; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Mount Bradley Trail. Cascade Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and there are magnificent locations to look at along the Giefer Twentyfive Mile Creek Trail.
