And that's not everything you can do here in the Absaroka Range. Monroe Reservoir is pretty dried up generally; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at       Monroe Reservoir usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Monroe Reservoir dip into the 10's. So many fun things in the Absaroka Range, just remarkable. Good hiking is available along the Custer National Forest Trail, and a nice site to camp here at Monroe Reservoir is City Park Campground. This lake is so wonderful.                  Monroe Reservoir is not the only location close by, Shupak Ponds is a close by lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Red Lodge Mountain is quite near.
