If the weather is tremendous here at Mission Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Crow Creek Trail, and Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast is a fine site to get some rest. While you're here at Mission Reservoir you will meet lots of folks from close by Missoula; McDonald Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors       amusing things the area next to Mission Reservoir has to offer. While you're here at Mission Reservoir, you could also stop by pretty Ashley Lakes. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mission Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Mission Falls Campground. At Mission Reservoir you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls through June; February is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Mission Reservoir during the warm                  months are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Mission Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Head up to Marshall Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; the Houle Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close by. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Montana Snowbowl, and after a long day outdoors Missoula-Days Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Mission Dam is a pretty place near Mission Reservoir; going for a hike along the Crow Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
