The beauty of Mirror Pond is reason enough to stop by. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Lewis Range. A fine nearby hotel is Izaak Walton Inn. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more amusing stuff to do in the Lewis Range. Stay the night at Rising Sun Campground, and don't leave Mirror Pond without first going for a hike along the Siyeh Bend Cut-Off Trail. The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful.
