Mirror Pond is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Lewis Range. Mirror Pond is right by the Gunsight Pass Trail, and at Mirror Pond you can spot Citadel Mountain. Not far from Mirror Pond, you'll find Twin Lakes which is a striking lake, and a journey to Glacier National Park is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Jackson Glacier Trail is nice fun, and camping at Rising                  Sun Campground is always a perfect experience. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Mirror Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while Mirror Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Mirror Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most snow; the driest month is April. The Siyeh Bend Cut-Off Trail offers hiking at its best, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Flathead River - Middle Fork.
