You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Mirror Lake. Near Mirror Lake you find the Lodgepole Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Hicks Park Campground is a good campground nearby. At Mirror Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's,       and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Mirror Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Mirror Lake called the Poacher Trail. Lakes? Sure, Rainbow Lakes is in the neighborhood. Get drenched paddling on Boulder River; Hells Canyon Campground is a nice local campground. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. The Buffalo Plateau Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Mirror                  Lake; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Big Timber is a perfect choice. So many exciting things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too nice to be true. Mount Douglas is charming and can be spotted from Mirror Lake; there are other sites here than Mirror Lake, for example Burnt Gulch Lake.
