Not far from Mirror Lake, you'll come across Chilled Lakes which is a pretty lake, and the sight of Blaze Mountain is beautiful. Going for a hike along the Eldridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; at Mirror Lake you always meet someone from Bozeman. High temperatures at Mirror Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes

| | with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mirror Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mirror Lake you can take a hike along the Lightning Creek Trail, and camping is available at Castle Rock Inn. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mirror Lake. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Moonlight Basin; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Beehive Lake. | |

Paddling on Gallatin River is so much fun, and why not camp at Elkhorn while you're here at Mirror Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Mirror Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is generally the driest
month. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Beaverhead, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Wapiti Creek Trail. After a long day outdoors Arrowhead is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and the skiing at Big Sky is splendid.
