Why not camp at Little West Fork Campground while you're here at Mink Lake, and nearby you locate the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail which is a good hiking trail. At Mink Lake you don’t see much rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. What would winter be without some skiing at Lost Trail, and if you need a location to stay Best Western       Hamilton Inn is a fine choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bitterroot Range. Summertime highs at Mink Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Mink Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Mink Lake is so good!
