It's always fun to stop by Milo Lake. Stony Creek Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Ranch Creek Trail is always a great adventure. And that's not all you can do here at Milo Lake. The slopes of Discovery Ski are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Kaiser Lake is in the vicinity of Milo Lake, and close by you hit upon the Sandstone Ridge Trail which is a good hiking trail.

| | Glide down the rapids of Rock Creek in a kayak, and Angelico Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. Not much rainfall falls here at Milo Lake; the month with most of the rain is May; February is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Milo Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Lake throughout the winter generally drop into the 10's. If you came for an overnight stay Copper Creek Campground is a wonderful location to camp, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Hi Line Trail.
