While you're here at Milltown Reservoir, you could also explore lovely Farmers Lakes, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Missoula-Riverside,       Mt is a tremendous choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. You'll find a picturesque lake called Tunnel Lake near Milltown Reservoir, and Milltown Reservoir is right next door to Mittower Gulch which is undeniably worth stopping at. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do close to Milltown Reservoir. Going for a hike on the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT is always a good adventure. Milltown Reservoir is pretty dried up generally; through the                  month of May you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little spree to Milltown Dam while you're here at Milltown Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Milltown Reservoir and you like golf, you can stop at University Golf Course, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Marshall Mountain is quite near. Lots of people from Missoula come to Milltown Reservoir, and do go to Blackfoot River if you're here at Milltown Reservoir. Summer at Milltown Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Milltown Reservoir.
