Why not take a refreshing hike along the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail; if you need a site to stay Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. The Iris Point Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Marshall Mountain is reasonably near. An afternoon playing golf at University Golf Course is always a bliss,       and needless to say Blackfoot River flows through this area. You might want to pay a visit to Mittower Gulch since you're here at Milltown Reservoir, and the skiing at Montana Snowbowl is pleasant. Through the warm months highs here at Milltown Reservoir reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Milltown Reservoir descend into the 10's.                  Milltown Reservoir is pretty dried up frequently; throughout May this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Here at Milltown Reservoir you'll probably meet some folks from Missoula, and the scenery at Milltown Dam is delightful. Milltown Reservoir in fact is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. If you came to camp Blue Slide Campground is a wonderful place to do that, and at Milltown Reservoir you can make out Woody Mountain. Camping at Jellystone RV Park is always a tremendous experience, and Holiday Inn Express Missoula-Riverside, Mt is a great spot to get some rest.
